Navigate step overview

The Navigate step allows the flowchart to switch to another operator view while the project is running. For example, a project that inspects one of several different parts can have a different page for each part, and you might want the appropriate page to be displayed. Often a separate view is used for training, or configuring a project at runtime.

The Target property of the Navigate step specifies the operator view that you want to switch to.

In addition, the Navigate step allows you to make the target operator view the default view, so that any new browser connections to the project will show that page.

For more information on operator views, see the Types of operator views section in Chapter 50: Customizing the operator view.
