Matrox Mura IPX 4K Capture & IP Decode cards

The Matrox® MURA IPX 4K capture and IP encode/decode cards feature 4 HDMI or 2 DisplayPort inputs for high-resolution capture, encoding, streaming, recording and decoding of up to four 4K or 16 HD streams—delivering an unmatched audiovisual experience.

These PCI Express® cards can stream and record an entire video wall or selected regions of interest, with pixel for pixel or scaled down representation of the display wall anywhere on the network. Mura IPX 4K capture and IP encode/decode can easily satisfy system builder requirements through the mixing and matching of a wide selection of Matrox video wall components. Ideal for control rooms, digital signage, AV presentation, security, and other applications that involve high-density capture, encoding, streaming, recording, decoding, and control operations.

Decoding Support for H.264 Universal Standard

Mura IPX supports high-density H.264 level 5.2 decoding, and thrives on the massive interactivity this produces with 3rd-party hardware and software products. Collectively accepted on the vast majority of network infrastructures, the H.264 codec allows for efficient decoding at low bitrates and high quality (from SD to 8K*) based on user needs.

Not only can Mura IPX receive and decode IP streams, but it can stream encoded video, receivable on other Mura IPX-enabled devices and third party hardware and software.

Adjustable Color Depth & Pixel Transfer Formats

Offering the user the flexibility to control the level of color detail required, Mura IPX allows RGB 8:8:8 & RGB 10:10:10, as well as 8-bit and 10-bit per component YUV color. As such, Mura IPX delivers deep 32-bit color, as well as 24-bit true color based on your needs.

Depending on the scenario, it may be advisable to subsample color to save bandwidth. Offering full 4:4:4 color to preserve full-color depth, Mura IPX also permits 4:2:2 and 4:2:0 subsampling to reduce bandwidth load where users will not be affected by the reduction in color detail.
