Matrox display controller boards improve performance and image quality on medical imaging solutions designed for mammography screening and diagnostics

Montreal, Canada/Lyon, France, October 13, 2009— Matrox Graphics Inc., the leading manufacturer of specialized graphics solutions, is pleased to announce that FENICS has validated the Matrox Xenia™ PRO display controller board with their DIAGNUM Workstation mammography computer-aided detection (CAD) solutions. FENICS will be demonstrating this technology at Journee Française de Radiologie (JFR) 2009 from October 16th-20th, 2009, in Paris - Porte Maillot, France.

FENICS is the first company from France to propose a set of aided diagnosis solutions for mammography through its DIAGNUMTM product line. "With Matrox Xenia PRO, we obtain the best performance and image quality on all major medical display manufacturers," says Jérémy Clech, CEO, FENICS. "The Matrox Xenia PRO display controller board dramatically reduces the development process by providing high-level libraries and native C# example source and executables for rapid development."
