Matrox M-Series Graphics Cards Now Compatible with Future Software DigiSHOW Digital Signage Software

IBC 2008, Amsterdam – September 15, 2008 – Matrox Graphics, the leading manufacturer of specialized graphics solutions, and Future Software are pleased to announce that DigiSHOW Digital Signage software supports the multi-display Matrox M-Series graphics cards.

M-Series graphics cards offer a number of digital signage features: driving 16:9/16:10 resolutions, support for portrait orientation of displays, and ability to playback multiple instances of video across two, three, or four screens. In addition, the low-profile, fanless M-Series graphics cards are ideal for digital signage applications, since they fit into smaller systems often used for public spaces in which space, form, heat and power are serious concerns.

"The M9140 graphics card offers native quad performance and support for playback of up to four channels of HD (1080p) video," states Ron Berty, Business Development Manager, Digital Signage, Matrox Graphics. "This means DigiSHOW software can run content across four displays from one graphics card, reducing the number of systems required for multi-display signage, and providing much needed setup flexibility for digital signage integrators."

The DigiSHOW software is a powerful solution for digital signage and business communication designed to be used by people of all skill levels with minimal user input. DigiSHOW utilises a wide variety of media such as flash, web pages, still images and videos in industry standard formats. This means there is no need to import, convert or recreate any of existing marketing or advertising material. The new 350 release of the DigiSHOW software supports Windows Vista Aero on the M-Series graphics card, providing a feature rich environment with improved workflow management and creative design options.

Matrox Graphics and Future Software will be exhibiting their digital signage solutions from Sept 12-16th at the IBC Exhibition, Amsterdam, at Booth DS10 in the Digital Signage Zone.
