Procedure for using the Loop step

Every Matrox Design Assistant project must have one loop element by default. Adding a Loop step to a project allows you to repeat a sequence of steps until a specified condition is reached. The condition for exiting a loop must be controlled using a Break step; step execution within a loop can also be controlled using a Condition step or a Continue step.

A loop element can be selected by clicking on the bar above its name. Cutting, copying or deleting a loop from the project affects all the steps contained in the loop. A count of how many times a loop is executed is shown in the step log when you run at design-time.
